Dark Arcadia wins at the 2026 Abcdect International Arts Festival held in collaboration with the Romanian National Film Archive
We are thrilled to share that Dark Arcadia has been named the winner of Best TV/Web Episode (Director: Sally McLean) at the 2026 Abcdect International Arts Festival in Romania!
The festival is a celebration of not just film, but also poetry, music and literature, run in exclusive collaboration with the Romanian National Film Archive, held at the Romanian Cinematheque in Bucharest. We are therefore doubly thrilled to be honoured in this way from a festival that truly celebrates and champions the Arts!
Many, many thanks to the festival jury and organisers for this wonderful accolade and a huge congrats to all our Dark Arcadia cast & crew!

Dark Arcadia is created & directed by Sally McLean, produced by Incognita Enterprises and funded via grants from the City of Melbourne, the British Shakespeare Association, Creative Victoria and Creative Australia through an Australian Cultural Fund BOOST Grant, as well as tax deductible donations from the general public via the Australian Cultural Fund.
