We would like to officially welcome the fabulous Phoebe Taylor to the Incognita Enterprises production team as Writer/Producer, working across all our projects, including this current season of Shakespeare Republic!
Phoebe and Sally have worked together on and off as acting colleagues for nearly six years and also behind-the-scenes four years ago when Sally was the founding Chair and Phoebe was founding Co-Artistic Director of the successful independent theatre company North Of Eight. When they both handed their mantles onto others at the theatre company to go onto other things, they continued to collaborate on ideas and really, it was inevitable that we would eventually bring Phoebe officially into our production team – because she’s been involved behind-the-scenes in one way or another for a while.

Phoebe is also one of our talented Shakespeare Republic ensemble, playing “Sebastian” (Twelfth Night) in Season Two of the series and “Launce” (The Two Gentlemen of Verona) in our current stand-alone season Shakespeare Republic: #AllTheWebsAStage (The Lockdown Chronicles). She is additionally a member of our Writers Room for Season Three of Shakespeare Republic and was on the production crew for our recent major film festival event at the Capitol Theatre, Melbourne, Shorts Relief, as Front of House Manager.
Phoebe is also a talented director and writer, with several plays under her belt and has run a number of successful seasons and Arts festival tours of her plays under her own production business, Apple and Shoes. She’s also a fabulous photographer (event, theatre, portraiture and artistic) has worked in administration and behind-the-scenes at several of our professional theatre companies and large-scale Arts festivals. And she’s a beautiful actor and human being ❤ She’s a wiz at so many things and we are so grateful that she’s prepared to lend her expertise, talent and sense of humour to the team!

Phoebe joins Sally McLean, Christopher Kirby and Billy Smedley at the helm of Incognita as a Producer (and Writer) and as a Co-Producer on Shakespeare Republic: #AllTheWebsAStage (The Lockdown Chronicles).
Thank you Phoebe for joining the fray! We feel very blessed to be in a position to work with such talented creatives!
