It was so lovely to be invited to submit the final episode of Shakespeare Republic: #AllTheWebsAStage (The Lockdown Chronicles) to the Andromeda Film Festival in Turkey a while back. That alone was a lovely thing to have happen, but it was even more amazing to then be named a winner in the festival with a Best Actress Award going to Sally McLean in her role as “Macbeth”! Amazing!
We are so grateful to the AFF organisers for wanting our work in their festival in the first place and then to the AFF jury for awarding Sally’s work on screen in this role. We thank everyone involved at Andromeda Film Festival for honouring the work in this wonderful way!
