Six years ago today, we introduced this wonderful band of merry makers to the world with this photo by Yanni Dellaportas as the inaugural ensemble for this new thing called “Shakespeare Republic”. 37 actors and just over 255 minutes of Shakespeare screen content later, and we’re still going strong
We are forever indebited to Ben Steel, Michala Banas, Alan Fletcher, Rowena Hutson and Billy Smedley, who so willingly joined Republic creator/director and fellow ensemble member, Sally McLean on this new adventure we still fondly call “The Experiment”.
